Ah, calories!! Isn’t it another annoyance tossed up to increase the stress of our already busy modern lives? And now associate it with most people’s much-loved drink – coffee, another door to extra anxiety, unlocked.

  • Cappuccino (8 ounces/ 236 ml) – 80 calories
  • Americano (Splash of milk and 1 tbsp sugar) – 34 calories
  • Macchiato (2 ounces/ 60 ml) – 13 calories
  • Caramel Macchiato (8 ounces/ 236 ml) – 140-190 calories


When consumed extra, these drinks can contribute significantly to raising your daily calorie count. According to NHS, the recommended daily calorie intake is 2,000 for women and 2,500 for men. 

Therefore, if you are watching your diet, it is highly advised that you reduce or entirely cut off the consumption of these fancy coffee drinks loaded with extra calories.
